The University of Applied
Arts Vienna is seeking a University Assistant (m/f/d, 20 h/w, Sept. 1, 2025 – September 30, 2026) at the
Institute of Architecture in the Department Building Construction.
Employment Requirements:
Completed
studies in architecture
Applicants should have the following qualifications:
Teaching
experience at a university
Several years of work experience in architectural practice
Experience in architecture
and building construction with a focus on sustainibility building and biobased design.
Social competence and ability
to work in a team, ability to organize oneself
Experience in and interest in discipline-specific research desired
Good
knowledge of German and excellent written and spoken English, subject-relevant teaching language: English
Job
profile:
Collaborate in teaching and research the content of building construction with and biobased design.
Conception
and organization of the Circular Strategies Symposium, lectures and workshops
On request supervision and support of
student projects (studio projects).
Administrative tasks
The minimum gross salary currently
amounts to € 1,857.40 (14x times a year, based on 20 hours per week) and can be increased accordingly by
taking into account job-specific previous experience in accordance with the collective agreement for universities (B1, salary
scheme for academic/artistic university staff).
