Katrin Köppert
on the relationship between digital blackface and gender in the memetic media culture of digital fascism.
Anti-gender
and digital authoritarianism
In the academic year 2025/26, the lecture series looks at anti-gender politics
and policies in art, culture and society in the digital realm. The series asks how reactionary actors dismantle concepts of
equality, justice, and sexual/reproductive rights, especially in and through digital media. Furthermore, it wants to highlight
artistic practices and societal alliances that disrupt these media narratives, and generate counter-narratives to the anti-liberal,
authoritarian, discriminatory, racist and extremist ideologies.
RegistrationThe lectures
are publicly accessible to all interested parties. Students can take the lecture series as a course
via
online registration (base).
Register until October 20, 2025.
