As
part of the Winterthur International Short Film Festival, the film by Klub Zwei – in which Jo Schmeiser, a lecturer in the
Department of Art & Communicative Practice at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, is involved – will be screened.
Klub Zwei, Simone Bader and
Jo Schmeiserhave
been working at the intersection of art, film and new media since 1992. Their focus is on socio-political themes and the means
by which they are represented. Our aim is to critique established modes of representation, whilst also developing new ones.
After all, the possibility of social change also depends on images. Further objectives include taking a critical look at structures
and fostering egalitarian collaboration amongst women with different backgrounds, origins and life paths.
