“Objective opacities” is a student lead exhibition exploring everyday objects
for their partiality and opacity. Inspired by the late Senegalese artist Issa Samb's notion of “helping objects move“ relating
creative strategies were explored and resulted in a diverse collection of works.
The
group exhibition is held at
VBKÖ, the Austrian Association of Women
Artists from 28-30 of January 2025. The process was guided by Brishty Alam in her scientific seminar “Helping Objects Move”
at the University of Applied Arts Vienna.
